ABOUT LEON
My grandfather arrived in Bedfordshire in the 1950s, having escaped the shackles of communism in the Soviet Union, modern day Ukraine.
Ever since then, Mid-Bedfordshire has been my family's home. I grew up in Mid-Beds and I still live here today.
I spent my childhood in Toddington, went to school in Harlington and spent my early adulthood in Clophill - where I was a Parish Councillor.
After a few years away building my business, I moved back to Clophill this year.
But I've seen Mid-Bedfordshire change. Our towns and villages are at risk from over-development like never before. It's a big challenge, but we must not lose what makes Mid-Beds such a special place to live.
I've spent my career taking on big challenges and have built multiple succesful businesses. My award-winning digital marketing business was acquired in 2019 after several years of rapid growth and many jobs created.
After I sold my business, I was appointed by the Rt Hon Steve Barclay MP to assist him during his spells as Brexit Secretary and Chief Secretary to the Treasury, negotiating the UK's withdrawal from the EU and supporting businesses through the COVID-19 pandemic.
Today, I run a global digital media business and am a regular political commentator for BBC News, GB News, The Telegraph and others.
I love where I live and I'm proud to have served our community, both as a Parish Councillor in Clophill and a School Governor at Robert Bloomfield, where I went to middle school.
But there's still more to do. Let's work together to make Mid-Bedfordshire an even better place to live.

PROTECTING OUR COUNTRYSIDE
We must resist over-development in Mid-Bedfordshire.
Our towns and villages cannot cope with the unsustainable development we have seen in recent years.
Over-development in Mid-Bedfordshire must stop, with every inch of the Green Belt protected.
WINNING BACK THE COUNCIL
The recent by-election and local election results have shown that voters in Mid-Bedfordshire want something different.
They want to see new faces and new ideas from Conservatives.
It's vital that we return Conservative leadership to CBC.
STABILITY FOR OUR SCHOOLS
I went to school at Robert Bloomfield Academy and Harlington Upper School. I recently served as a governor at Bloomfield.
Our schools need stability after the botched transition to the two-tier system.
Young people deserve stability and quality in their education.

STREETS
Local police need to be supported to keep our streets safe.
It's vital that we re-elect a Conservative Police & Crime Commissioners in May to continue his good work on tackling crime.
BOOSTING LOCAL BUSINESS
I know what it takes to run a succesful business - and it isn't easy.
Small businesses should not be hindered by unnecessary red tape and bureaucracy.
From agriculture to manufacturing, Mid-Beds can become a vibrant economic hub.

Mid-Bedfordshire doesn't have enough GPs. Wixams has been established since 2009 and still has no GP surgery.
Rural areas like ours need the proper infrastructure to ensure we get the healthcare we need, when we need it, wherever we live.
